Ryan is one of the most gifted musicians I have met...recently recorded a double quartet CD at Legacy (formerly Right Track studio) - which I had the pleasure of tracking and mixing...arrangements of Brad Mehldau and Lennon/McCartney tunes as well as originals...and the band smokes...pay attention to Ryan!

Cady McClain
Cady is a multi-talented artist. She is currently a star of ABC's All My Children, playing the role of Dixie. Cady has won two Emmy's and many additional nominations.
But...Cady is also a GREAT singer and songwriter. We have developed a strong collaboration and are at Right Track studios these days doing a HUGE project together. Check Cady's blog at her site...and see all the cool stuff she does. Cady is an amazing woman, and I am very proud to be working with her on the first of what will be many albums.
Legacy
My personal favorite studio in NYC. Right Track have recently merged forces (and gear!) with Sound on Sound...another great studio. The resulting facilities, called LEGACY, are top-notch in their sound, equipment and staff. I can not think of any project that would not benefit from sessions at Legacy. I am fortunate to have developed a strong relationship with this facility - and they have extended preferential rates to my clients. This is really a great place to work.
Jeff Ballard...extraordinary musician/drummer...
What can be said about Jeff that has not been heard...and is printable? Jeff is a remarkable musician whose chosen instrument is the drum kit. I have a feeling that Jeff would be as musical on ANY instrument. I had the pleasure of working with Jeff recently on a recording project - he is the ultimate professional in the studio, a great creative force and a real pleasure to hang with...check out all his projects, especially FLY at his site - cheers, Jeff.
Skyline Studio
What can you say? Skyline is a great studio. Huge live room with 30' ceilings, a tremendous sounding NEVE VR console, great staff, super mics and outboard, accurate control-room, great drum booth, vocal iso...Yamaha C7 concert grand...
Tough to beat for large group recording (just did an octet there...live) or for smaller groups that want to record in the same room or direct to two-track. And what a history..Miles, Brecker, Steely Dan, Blondie...go check them out.
...and I have a great rate on their services...lucky for my clients!
Victor Prieto
Victor is from Spain...and is a master accordion player, composer and leader of his own Trio. The band boasts Allison Miller on drums and Carlo Derosa on bass. Check Victor's music out - this guys is tremendous...and it's NOT just Tango !
Emily Lazar
Emily is my 'goto' mastering engineer. A GRAMMY winner, she is exactly what you are looking for in mastering...very sensitive to your style and needs...I have sent many, many projects her way...so take the sting out of the last and perhaps most crucial element of doing a CD...get Emily to do your work.
