A wonderful composer and singer, Catarina asked me to mix her debut CD recently. I chose Legacy Studios as per usual...and it came out sounding tremendous. WE were joined by Eduardo Nazarian, Catarina's Producer. Both Kevin Porter (from Legacy) and I engineered the mix sessions...

We had a great time - recorded two tunes with Paul and Max Pollak (rumbatap dancer), and then went on to mix the album...it sounds really strong.

Eugenia is a wonderful singer, and a great person. With Eduardo, her long-time producer and guitarist, the three of us put together a very high quality 'demo' for her label, Universal Music (Portugal). Eugenia is there now getting financing together for her next CD project which the same team will be doing in Brazil in the next couple of months. A real pleasure working with these lovely people - - and the music proves it.

Paul and I go back a few years now. I had the pleasure of engineering and mixing his first CD as a leader, OTHER TONGUES a couple of years ago over at Skyline studios. Paul decided to do another CD this year and asked me to engineer and mix again - this time I chose Legacy for the project. If you need to ask 'why', don't call me !
Tremendous musicians on this one again...Ryan Keberle, Mike Fahie, Dave Smith, Anton Denner...this list is long...and impressive.

Paul's compositions are strong as always, pulling Latin, straight-ahead and blues influences together in a unique mix that is ' All Paul ' ... yeahhhhh.
We are headed to Na cena studios in Sao Paulo Brazil to mix this month...stay tuned for updates and an example of the music. thanks so much to Paul, Legacy and the musicians for a great experience and another great album.

A great session by all standards. This was a project to record the previously un-released 6 piano preludes of French Film Composer, Didier Vasseur. His wife, Susana found Martin Leung, a 21 year old pianist currently performing in the Nation's top competitions, and awaiting acceptance ti Julliard...Yale already wants him with full scholarship offered! We tracked on the 9-foot Steinway at Legacy's A-509 studio and mixed in Frank Fillipetti's wonderful studio, also at Legacy...check it all out...!

Gary is the leader, conductor arranger and, at times, composer for this 20-piece group. We recorded at Legacy's studio 'A' (formerly Right Track) for a few days...some cool photos of the set up and some of the band. Truly amazing players, all...and Gary's music is tremendous...a pleasure to record...dynamic, tight and colorful.

A great friend for years, Robin asked me to produce and engineer (and co-write/play) on her record date.
